A brief professional biography or background:

Anthony is an experienced public-sector leader whose career has progressed through multiple levels of the building and regulatory profession, including service as an inspector, plans examiner, floodplain manager, and building official. His experience has provided him with a broad perspective on building safety, regulatory compliance, facility operations, organizational leadership, and public service. He is particularly focused on developing high-performing teams, improving processes, modernizing service delivery, and building stronger connections between regulatory and facilities functions.

Your current title and organization:

Director of Building & Facilities Services and Building Official for Indian River County, Florida while also serving as the County’s Floodplain Administrator.

Any relevant achievements:

Anthony is an ICC Master Code Professional (MCP) and Certified Building Official (CBO) and holds additional ICC credentials including Certified Fire Marshal, Fire Code Specialist, Fire Inspector I & II, Certified Sustainability Professional, Commercial Green Construction Professional, and Coastal & Floodplain Construction Inspector, along with numerous combination inspector, plans examiner, and code specialist certifications. He also holds the Certified Facility Manager credential by IFMA.

In Florida, Anthony is a licensed Building Code Administrator and Certified General Contractor, with additional state licenses and certifications in building inspection and plans examination.

A brief professional biography or background: 

Gordon is a highly experienced Facilities and Program Management Executive with a proven track record of successfully leading teams including managing an FM organization serving large technology organizations, leading a multi-disciplinary design firm, creating criteria documents for the largest prison hospital in the world, developing and implementing an IFMA-based 11-point FM program for a 2,500 person public sector agency, and leading a team of Construction Management professionals overseeing hundreds of concurrent judicial and healthcare facility maintenance and renewal projects, ensuring on-time delivery and effective cost management.

Frequent speaker at Facility Fusion and World Workplace. Co-lead the Public Sector Council to a Council of the Year award in 2023.
