The Public Sector Council serves those who manage, maintain, or construct government buildings and facilities. The council addresses the constraints of budgets, organizational policies and political implications affecting city, state, provincial or federal government facilities.

Participate by joining us at a monthly board meeting. We meet every Thursday of the first whole week of the month. Our next monthly meeting is on August 6th at 4 PM Eastern. Also, several committee openings are available.

Help Shape the Future of IFMA Public Sector Leadership

The IFMA Public Sector Council is looking for a few dedicated volunteers to join our leadership team and committees.

As the IFMA Public Sector Council continues to expand its programs, educational offerings, and member engagement, we’re looking for passionate volunteers to help us continue that momentum.

If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to advance your leadership experience, expand your professional network, and help shape the future of facility management in the public sector, we’d love to hear from you.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:

• Secretary (Board Position) – Serve as a voting member of the Public Sector Council Board of Directors while capturing the key discussions and decisions from our monthly Board meetings.
• Education Committee
• Sponsorship Committee
• Membership Committee
• World Workplace & Facility Fusion Events Committee

If you’re concerned about the time commitment, don’t let that stop you. We recognize that everyone has different schedules and responsibilities, and we’re happy to work with you to find a level of involvement that fits your availability. Whether you can contribute a few hours each month or take on a larger role, your participation can make a meaningful impact.
